NICLAS from SWEDEN!!! Congratulations Niclas!!!!!!
Niclas ( 18 ) started playing drums at the age of 8, and moved on to playing guitar in his early teens. He is a fan of Joe Satriani and finds his music inspiring, but at heart is a throwback to 1970's Glam Rock, naming Alice Cooper, Kiss and Motley Crue among his major influences.
In improving himself as a guitarist, he listens to Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and Paul Gilber, as well as "Satch" of course, these players, he says "have inspired me in another way"
So there it is, congrats again to Niclas, and I hope he gets much joy from this unique prize. To everyone else, sorry - if I could have organized for each of you to have won a guitar I would have been thrilled, but alas, we live in the REAL world!
